As I was playing in Cairo for New Year's Eve I thought that the perfect way to watch the sun set on 2009 would be to see it setting over the pyramids. I even saw them on horseback which was a real surprise! It was certainly an experience riding thru the backstreets of Giza at dusk with all the cars beeping, which is something that people never do in the UK if someone is on horseback.
